    Default Removing JavaScript from PDF document with Acrobat 5.05

    I am editing a PDF document created by someone else, and am trying to remove all JavaScript. When I hit Tools>JavaScript>Edit All JavaScripts, I get a screen that shows 252 lines of JavaScript including XML tags. I want to delete everything, but when I try, I get a message that says "ECMA Script - XML tags may have been edited. Your changes cannot be accepted. Please don't edit the XML tags." How can I get rid of all traces of the JavaScript, XML? BTW, what the heck is ECMA and how do I make it go away?

    I have posted the PDF document at the following URL:

    <http://www.firstreport.com/test/NDfroi6.pdf>

    Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

    Like it says, don't edit the XML tags. Try deleting everything else.

    ECMAScript is the standardized version of JavaScript. If you really want to know more, see: <http://www.ecma-international.org/publications/standards/Ecma-262.htm>
