    Default RENDERING 3D OBJECT OUTLINE

    hello,

I would like to know how to render an imported 3D object in Outline,

the effect I would like to achieve is that of seeing only the line of the
Silhouette of the object in black over a white backgound for example

In 3DS MAX 4 I was obtaining this effect using the Illustrate plugin

thank you for your kind attention

Thank you very much for your reply but

I forgot to mention that I am a total newbie and of course don't speak lingo
    yet ...

could you please tell me the exact syntax I should paste into the script window

I understand now that the effect i am trying to achieve is called Silhouette
in Director and that is handled through the Toon or inker modifier

    thank you very much
