    Default replacing home page

    :confused;
I am unable to delete the background on my existing home page. I have created
a new home page, but cannot figure out how to
make the new page the home page.
Unable to "save" the new page as the "www...com/index.html" file.
Any way I can do this?
If not, any idea on how I can delete the background on the existing home page?
    Thanks

    Default Re: replacing home page

re: changing the specified homepage to another page.

My understanding is that this is done at the Contribute Users and Roles level,
so must be done by the site Administrator. Each role has a specified "Home page
for users in this frole:" (Edit Role Settings > General section), and this can
be changed, but again, only by an Administrator.

re: removing the background of your page:
This really depends on how the page was created. If the page was based on a
template, and that template includes the background, you probably can't remove
it. If the page was created from scratch, I think we'd need to see the
HTML/code used to add it. Basically there are multiple ways to add a background
to a page (in the BODY tag, style sheets, etc) so we'd need to know which one
was used to really help you remove it.

Post your code and we'll see what we can do.
