Purchasing this xtra has been one of the best things I've done to expand the
functionality of my projectors. I can not say from experience that you can
change your stage size with it, but it will allow you to scan a particular
folder's contents so that you can get a list of the sound files that have
been dumped into that folder, thereby letting you play one of them at
random. This takes knowledge of lingo to utilize, but it vastly opens
functionality possibilities. Hope this gets you started in the right
    direction.
Also, if someone knows of a built-in way to do this stage sizing stuff , I'd
    love to know about it.

Hi, thanks a lot for the replys. Realy!!! Roofy, that script is better than what i expected... however when i try to use it i recive this script error - "variabke used before assigned a value". Lingo don't hunderstand this: "DeskTopRectList[?1].width". I've try this: "repeat with a = 1 to DeskTopRectList.count". Didn't whork. Can you help me... ? Thanks.
About the SoundFiles... i spent a while with Director 8.5 help and try some solutions... What did i need to do to play some soundfiles randomly? And what's the diference betwen puppetsound, sound playfile and sound.queue? Thanks again...

You have to use "the" in front of dektopRectList like this:-

    (the desktopRectList)[1].width

The parentheses may not strictly be necessary but it makes it easier to read and
    removes any potential ambiguity.
