Resize Stamp Tool
Is there a way to make the default size of a stamp in acrobat 5 smaller. I'm trying to not have to re-size the stamp after each document is stamped and the default size is too large. I'm using a custom signature for the stamp if that makes any difference. Thanks in advance.

I'm having a related by different problem. I want my signature stamp to have a "transparent background" and don't know how to adjust that either. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Resize Stamp Tool
To make the stamps adhere to your image sizes, use a .tif format, not a .gif format.
To make your signature stamp have a transparent background, use a photo editor, like Gimp, use the magic wand tool do select all of the white space, and hit delete. Make sure the layer is set with an alpha channel, enabling transparency. Save the file as a .tif, and import it into acrobat with the "create stamp" tool.
