Retrieving data from sql server to excel in vb.net - Microsoft SQL / MS SQL Server

    I'm not sure what do you mean by "windows form". If you want to export data
    to excel you can use DTS. or if you want to export data using T-SQL you can
    try using bcp and send the data to the file with extension .XLS. The default
    format for bcp out is tab seperated file hence when you open the file with
    ..XLS extension it gets opened in ms excel and tab is assumed as COLUMN
    seperator.

    Ex:
    --in following example im executing bcp from xp_cmdshell.
    exec master..xp_cmdshell 'bcp "northwind..customers" out
    c:\customers.xls -c -Sserver -Usa -P'
