Have you tried the new (June) driver update, which is free? It finally
gives me proper support for my old La Cie USB cd burner, and also lets
me use my DVR-105 for DVD backup, with 5.0.238 Express.

Have you considered downloading a trial version and seeing if it does
what you want?
