RGB2HSV broken?! - Mac Programming

I have been using this function and its converse for years and I only just noticed that there appears to be a serious error in its function. The value component always comes back equal to the blue component without regard for the red or green components at all. Does anyone know anything about this? Thanks. __________________________________________________ ______________________ Keith Wiley unm.edu http://www.unm.edu/~keithw http://www.mp3.com/KeithWiley "Yet mark his perfect self-contentment, and hence learn his lesson, that to be self-contented is to be vile and ignorant, and that to aspire is better than to be blindly and impotently happy." -- Edwin A. Nevermind. Apparantly value is the max of the three rgb components, not
the average. Wow. I really didn't know that. Argh.

That's exactly how HSB (aka HSV) is defined, yes.
