ricoh digital camera and Aiptek pencam conflict
Hi all,
when I plug in the aiptek and the ricoh together I cannot communicate
with the ricoh with gthumb.
gthumb --import-photos starts automatically but shows the wrong device "AEG Snap 300".
When connecting the ricoh alone, gthumb shows "USB PTP Class Camera" and
everything works fine.
I have then removed every entry in /etc/hotplug/usb/libgphoto2.usermap
but the one for the ricoh:
# Ricoh Caplio R2
libgphoto2 0x0003 0x05ca 0x032c 0x0000 0x0000 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00
0x00 0x00000000
hoping that this would prevent detecting the aiptek pencam. But it didn't
help.
1) syslog when Aiptek is plugged in:
Mar 4 19:35:06 localhost kernel: [4304706.185000] drivers/usb/media/stv680.c: [usb_stv680_remove_disconnected:1448] STV(i): STV0680 disconnected
