Default Roll Over Sound opening windows media player

Hello,

I have added sounds (barks) to the pictures on our menu at
www.dogworld.com.au/WOOFERSWEBSITE/. All seems ot work fine but... about 50% of
the time when we roll over one of the paw print menu pictures it opens the
sound file in windows media player, naturally we just want the sound to play in
the background/embed in internet exploer, which it does some of the time.

Kindest Regards,

Default Re: Roll Over Sound opening windows media player

Found something that may help diagonse it, If I wait for the page to compete
downloading, it all works fine & doesn't open the media player, however if I
don't wait for the page to download completely & hover over one of the paw
pictures for the sound, it then opens in the media player. So if someone is to
wait for the complete page to download it will be fine, but if they don't it
will open the media player???? Any ideas? Or has anyone else had this problem???

:( I am having the exact same problem you are. However, even if I wait for the
page to load completely, I still get the same result. I have a VERY short .wav
sound that I want to play on rollover of an image. I've set the behavior to
PlaySound onmouseover. However, I'm finding when I test the page out,
everytime the cursor rolls over the specified image, real player opens up and
plays the sound independently of the web page. Can anyone please shed a little
light on this problem? I simply want to hear the sound without any external
players opening up, and only when the mouse cursor is placed over the object.
Any replies would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! :brokenheart;
