Rollovers wont export
Bigtime newbie here. When I export my png file to a gif file, the rollovers aren't working on the gif file. This is a basic 2 state graphic. (up, over)
sorry if my terminology is off, but I am very new with this progam. By the way, when I export, a message tells me that I need to choose export slices which I did , but that didn't seem to make any difference. What have I missed here?

Re: Rollovers wont export
sorry, i'm not sure how to do that. I did upload the png to my website, but im not sure it will help you. www.harmonychurch.org/HBCservicetimes.png
When you rollover the image, the white circle should turn maroon and the "times" are added in along with a text color change. It works fine in my "preview" when I'm in Fireworks, but when I export it to a gif on my hard drive, and I open the gif, there is no rollover anymore.

Re: Rollovers wont export
An image cannot contain rollover information. It's just composed of
bitmapped pixels.
Rollovers come from the HTML.
If you want rollovers, the best way is to use DW to add them to the images
that you have exported from FW.

Re: Rollovers wont export
Hi, Homer!
Exporting 2-state "rollover" images as "html and images" from FW will generate 3 new files - 2 gifs (an "Up" gif and an "Over" gif) and an html file which controls the rollover effect in your browser. It is this file (not the gifs) which you would insert into your web-page or preview in your html editor to view the effect in action.
Unless, of course, you are up to constructing the effect from scratch in your html editor, in which case you would use simple "swap image" behaviours triggered by your rollover.
Hope this helps!
