Re: rotate gradient command
Why don't you just use the Gradient tool? You find it by pressing and
holding on the Paint bucket tool. You change the direction of the
gradient by dragging the gradient tool against the shape in any
direction that you wish.
Best regards,
Linda Rathgeber

Re: rotate gradient command
Yes, it is what I do now but (dunno why they did not think about it) when it
comes
to rotate the direction of the gradient is kind of tricky cause the
direction does not snap
to 90° degrees or 45° like with the rotate tool by pressing a key,
so the command i had just turned it 90 and was great..
anyway thanks for ur help

(which I had as well). Experiment with the FillHandleAssistant command,
it does all that you require and then some. It does take a little
getting used to though.
THe other command was called "Turn_Linear_Gradient" and I don't believe
it is still available anywhere. It was limited to editing linear
gradients as the name implies. That's a limitation that the
FillHandleAssistant does not have.

Rotate gradient command
Hold down the shift key while you use your mouse to move the gradient handles on the image. It will cause the gradient direction rotate in increments.
