RTMP Troubleshooting
I installed Flash Media Server on Windows 2003 server. I can open management
console from the startup menu. It works fine.
When I try use RTMP from my browser it just hangs there. Is there a way to
troubleshoot it. I tried to install FMS on different machines (Windows 2000,
Windows 2003) and they have the same issue.
Thank You

Re: RTMP Troubleshooting
Browsers don't support rtmp. You need to use a .swf to connect to FMS.

Re: RTMP Troubleshooting
I am trying to stream a video from FMS. I created an SWF and HTML file. When I
try to run HTML file from the web server by doing this command:
http://localhost/videos/test.html nothing is happening. If I run this:
c:\inetpub\wwwroot\videos\test.html it works fine.
I am using Flash 8 professional to create SWF and HTML files. When I specify
this command: rtmp://localmachine/appsdir/file.flv, I am getting message, that
it can't find the file. When I specify actual file name it works fine.
