Default running connector (wsconfig?) via UNIX

I've been using CF for about 7 years, however, I've always been on Windows
boxes. i am now at a new location that uses Unix. The system admin installed
CF but it doesn't appear to be rendering the CF code.

My first thought is that he hasn't run the connector, I think its the wsconfig
file. I know how to do this via a Windows box. Can anyone provide a little
help for someone with no UNIX experience. I am sure the sys admin will
understand the UNIX aspect of it. I just don't even know where to start.

    Thank you

    Hello

Check if you can find anything useful from these links, there's some
guide about wsconfig and it worked for me:

Just installed ColdFusion on Ubuntu 6.10 Desktop and made it work but
it took many many hours. I had never installed or used ColdFusion b4,
never used Ubuntu or Debian and I'm not a Linux guru. However, I've
installed several Slackwares. The installation of CFMX7 on Ubuntu made
me much more familiar with Ubuntu and command line.

    At the moment I'm writing a from-beginning-to-the-end how-to about
    installing ColdFusion on Ubuntu 6.10.

    Good luck

    Regards
