Running SQL DTS packages via ASP.NET
I have the above working on a machine that is both the SQL
server and the IIS webserver. My DTS package creates a
spreadsheet and this is all OK. The ASPNET account has
been given rights to run the DTS Package and also to
create the spreadsheet. A RCW has been created and
registered in the GAC to allow ASP.NET to interact with
SQL DTS.
The problem is in our production environment the SQL
server and IIS machines are separate machines. Each time I
try and run the DTS package through ASP.NET I
get "unspecified error" has occurred.
Any help on this topic would be appreciated!
I am finding very little on the Internet to help with this
subject which I am suprised about.
Thanks
