russian in the title of the web page

Hi, please help!
I would like to give my web page a title in russian as the page is in russian text.
I can type in russian on the page but if i try to type russian in the white title box at the top where untitled doc is the font turns to unreadable characters.
I try to type the title in show code view page as well same result.

I saw your question about how to view russian in the title and cant tell you how. Sorry. Can you tell me how to convert a word document in Russian into Dreamweaver? I tried saving the word doc in html and importing but that did not work. Any ideas?
