Safari 1.0 - Mac Applications & Software

This program won't start for my wife. She gets a panel that it unexpectedly quit. I can run it and so can root. I thought it might be some kind of permission problem but everything seems to be okay. Any ideas? -- Robert B. Peirce, Venetia, PA 724-941-6883 net [Mac] com [Office]...

    Just for humor value:

Has she got Safari configured to go to a home page, and is that home
    page different from yours?

Other idea: Prefs. Take the file "com.apple.Safari.plist" out of her
~/Library/Preferences and see if it'll launch then.

Delete plist file as the other guy mentioned.

While I appreciate your candor, you may need to know that
there are some hackers, mostly in PRC, who harvest e-mail
addresses from newsgroup posts, then sell them to spammers
and/or attack them by sending massive spam-like posts containing
    MS viruses.

I don't think safari was ever configured. IE goes to google.

    The plist file doesn't exist.

Try trashing the cache files in /Users/username/Caches/Safari

Check that her account doesn't have an older version of PitHelmet
