Same page, different users?
Is it possible to have a single page with with part of the page editable
only by Joe and the other part only by Alice when neither are the
administrator? (Nope, can't so frames.)

Yes, you could do this if you contstructed the page using server side
includes.
- Main page - include virtual /joe/joe.html, include virtual
/alice/alice.html
- path for Joe's page is joe/joe.html
- path for alice's page is alice/alice.html
In Contribute, you have 2 roles. One is called Joe and the other is
called Alice. Joe's role allows him to edit files in folder joe and
Alice's role allows her to edit files in folder alice.
When Joe open Contribute, he uses the Choose button in the upper right
to choose joe.html, edits and publishes. This updates his part of the
page. Same for Alice.
