Saving AI as PDF, color and contrast change slightly. Why?
When I save a Illustrator 10 file as a PDF file the color and contrast change somewhat when viewing the PDf file in Acrobat reader, which is where people will be viewing my newsletter. What are the best settings to use in Illustrator to insure that the color and contrast stay the same in the new PDF as they were in the original Illustrator file?

You know there are so many variables that you really can't expect a total consistency from one user to the next and from one monitor and settings to another. Since you are doing this all by computer I would try two approaches one is Color Match RGB and the other would be Web Default. That would be my suggestion.
