saving files
I am using Illusrator 9.0 with Windows XP.
The programme is working fine but just recently the following has been happening.
Whenever I save a document either on the hard drive or on disk, it goes through the motions of saving but then when I go to close to the program it asks whether I wish to save before closing YES or NO. The work has already been saved so I click on NO.
It is the same when I save a file and then put the computer into 'sleep' mode, I always get the message do I wish to save all documents before closing down.
I have used Ilustrator a lot on this computer and it is only recently that it has been doing this,
Hope you can help,
Jane

Saving files
I have tried several times to save files from internet as well as being sent flash files, right clicking does not help. I do not create these files (nor know how to!)
Is there a way to save them?

Re: Saving files
Well if you want to create flash content (cartoons/etc) then you'll need Flash
8, which you can download a free trial from this site infact:

And as for saving content, there isn't really an official way of saving flash
content from IE to your PC like you would an image, unless the site gives you
the option to download it. But then again I always thought .swf were designed
so that you can't save them to your PC, just view them from the site.
