Default saving files from Illustrator to view on screen and print

I'm creating a logo stylebook, and my client wants one of the logos to be saved in a format so that he can place it into a word file, add text...save that as a pdf for the web for viewers to read on screen and print out. The problem is, that when I save the logo in various formats, it either looks perfect on screen, then prints out horrible, or looks jagged on screen and prints out perfect. Can I have both???

    Thanks!

Default Re: saving files from Illustrator to view on screen and print

You can try two things 1. when saving from AI to import into Word if you do not have AI CS save for the Web as PNG or export as PNG this format seems to work best in Word. 2. save as a PDF with the option to Optimize for web viewing.
