    you save it as a style Bill

    just tick fill colour & type

    So I can't save it as a handy dropdown menu option in the fill panel?

    I'm all for saving as a style but just thought it would be cool to have it
    in the fill panel.

    No, it doesn't look like you can.
    I'm sure you used to be able to do this in older
    versions of Fireworks but I can't be sure.

    maybe you should fire off that wishlist page.
