saving print settings
Hello --
I realize this is most likely a ridiculous question, but here goes...
I needed to create a ruler -- yes, a ruler -- for someone in MS Word so that people could print out the page and measure things. I converted this file to pdf and the ruler prints fine, 10 inches exactly, as long as I set the print setting to "page scaling = none" in the print dialog box.
While I know I can save settings for the conversion process, does anyone have any ideas how I might be able to connect the print settings to the file so that when distributed, recipients will be able to print without this ruler being distorted?
Alternatively, does anyone have a better suggestion for this entire process?
Thanks!
Patrick

Re: saving print settings
The user has free choice of their print settings. You cannot remove
this choice.
You should probably include recommendations and clear instructions on
the page.
