    Default Saving to v7?

The print shop that a client is using only has Illustrator 7. CS doesn't have that choice. What is my solution?

    Jason,

although I'm not yet using Illustrator CS myself, I think you have to Export
to earlier versions of Illustrator rather than Save.

    Jason,

    You would have to Export>Illustrator Legacy>Version 3 for Illustrator 7 -
but whether the design will remain intact is somewhat questionable!

Not sure if they will accept PDFs. They should be able to, but I'm a subcontractor on this project so I'm not sure. Well on second thought, they only accept Illv7, lol.

I think v3 would work. There's nothing major in the design. Not even gradients. Just blocks of color and text.

    Thanks!

Yes, 'if' being the opportune word. ;) But I think v3 will work in light of the logo construction. Thanks!

Oh well, I'm sure if you really get stuck someone in here with a copy of 9 or 10 would be happy to help.
