Saving to v7?
The print shop that a client is using only has Illustrator 7. CS doesn't have that choice. What is my solution?

Jason,
although I'm not yet using Illustrator CS myself, I think you have to Export
to earlier versions of Illustrator rather than Save.

You would have to Export>Illustrator Legacy>Version 3 for Illustrator 7 -
but whether the design will remain intact is somewhat questionable!
Can't your print shop accept PDF's?

Not sure if they will accept PDFs. They should be able to, but I'm a subcontractor on this project so I'm not sure. Well on second thought, they only accept Illv7, lol.
I think v3 would work. There's nothing major in the design. Not even gradients. Just blocks of color and text.

If you have a copy of 9 or 10 you could export to that and then onto 7...
