saving traced JPEGS
Ok, now this really freaked me out. I've got a PC running at 1.9GHz with 1GB of RAM. I've been using FH10 for a while now and never come across this ever!
I imported a greyscale jpeg (32Kb), and traced it with the Trace tool. Colour mode was set to 16 with greys and outline to be selected.
I then filled it with a lens fill with 40% opacity after grouping it.
Copy/pasted the image 6 times, then saved it.
IT TOOK 12 MINUTES TO SAVE THE FILE and now it's blown up to 1.66Mb!
Does anyone know how this has happened? I've work with lens fills before and traced JPEGS but never ever experienced anything like this before. To top it off, I was also working in keyline view to speed things up.
Thanks in advanced and looking forward to your responses.

why do jpegs go to 12?
I know it's kind of an old question, but I really never know whether to stop at 10 or crank it to 12. What's with that? Should I stop at 10? Thanks
