say it with headers - PHP Development

How would I tell a browser that the php generated image it just downloaded will never expire and should be cached, so that the browser fetches it only when it hasn't got it. I got only this header('HTTP/1.0 304 Not Modified'); Is that enough? What about cache-control or expire-date? -- "I am pro death penalty. How would I tell a browser that the php generated image it just downloaded
    will never expire and should be cached, so that the browser fetches it only
    when it hasn't got it.

    I got only this
    header('HTTP/1.0 304 Not Modified');

    Is that enough? What about cache-control or expire-date?

    After further examination it seems to break the image, so I can't use that.
    Anything else?

    in the response headers there's "304 Undescribed"...

    A "304 Not Modified" header is only meaningful in response to a conditional
    HTTP request.
