Says it can't load 3D.localized

I had dumped some of my preferences accidently and now I get this message:
can't load 3D.localized
I use Panther Illustrator CS.
Does anyone know what I possibly dumped so this thing will work? I checked and I have copies of it in the program. I only dumped the .plist files so I can't understand why this is now a problem.

You must have trashed something else, I would repair the permissions and if that didn't work I would log into a new account and try launching from there and if that worked then the user account is now corrupt.

But I have never seen this posted before.

This didn't seem to work. I also ran all the DiskWarriors and Nortons on all my drives as well as the repair and permissions. Do you or anyone know of any way to contact Adobe for technical help. I spend over a thousand dollars for this CS program and I can't get any technical help without paying $40 or so for them to try to help me with this problem. It makes me so angry.

Reinstall it. Do a search for photoshop and the like and trash everything including the preferences registration Data base preferences Application Support Files etc. and reinstall. Do a search for Adobe as well.

Doing something like that is way too drastic. I have custom settings that took me hours to complete. I am hoping to find out where they store this thing I am missing or the pref file that calls upon it. But since their support is so unhelpful that might be the way I have to go.

I got it all worked out. I had two preferences folders in my library for Illustrator CS. One had a bland spot where the u should be and that was the one the program was using. The new one that it was not using worked correctly but and the one it was using was the old one but had the faulty non loading 3d.localized. So I transferred a couple of the old prefs at a time into the new prefs folder and found it was either of these two culprits:
AIMenuFaceCache
Plug-in Cache

Whew!
