Scale to Page?
I need to batch process lots of CGMs into PDFs. The drawings are all different sizes and they need to fit on an 8.5 x 11 landscape page. All the CGMs are landscape already, but not necessarily the same size. Is there anyway to scale the drawings to the page size? A percentage scale won't work because the starting size is not the same for all drawings.

Re: Scale to Page?
Look to the Actions Palette.
Open the first file.
Start Recording a new Action.
Name it FitHorizontal.
Select All.
Enter page width (minus the margins you want to leave) into width field of the Transform palette.
Press Ctrl while clicking Apply (to constrain proportions).
Align Palette: select Align to Artboard from the flyout menu.
Click the align vertical and horizontal center buttons.
Stop recording.
Repeat to make a similar Action named FitVertical for drawings proportioned more square than 8.5 x 11 (if any).
Put the palette in Button Mode and you can do each drawing with one click. Explore the other functions you can add to the Actions to further automate the process(Insert Menu Command to invoke the Open and Save dialogs, etc.)
