    Default scaling problem

    hi,
sometimes when i want to scale objects using the scale tool (s) i get a message similar to this: "can't scale object, objects become too small to use" ???!!
so what if they become too small? i still want to scale them... can scale it manually though(by dragging the bounding box). i want to use the scale tool to do it by a percentage and acurrate. any way around this problem?

    thanks a bunch,
