Scanned Photos have contrast problems
I have a dental office. We use a HP 6100 C/T scanner and Photoshop 7.0.1 to have our patient photos and X-rays on our computer. Eveything scanned comes into photoshop significantly darker than the original. What causes this and how could we correct it?
Thanks.

Re: Scanned Photos have contrast problems
It could be a lot of things causing it, difacult to say with the info you have given. But tis likey its your colour profile. Printing out may give a good result.
But try this, I use curves all the time now.
