Default Scanning in Adobe Acrobat 6 creates multiple blank pages

    Hi,

I have a problem with Adobe Acrobat 6.

When scanning documents on an HP Office JEt v45, Adobe is creating multiple blank pages. It creates them part way through scanning, and also at the end of the scan. The only way to stop it is to cancel the scan and delete the blank pages out, and this is becoming quite annoying.

I have tried re-installing the Adobe software, have run all the Critical Windows updates, and have put the latest version of the HP drivers on, and have tried installing the printer and Adobe in different orders in case something was being overwritten.

    Does anyone have any ides???

    Thanks

    Peter

    Peter,

There is an update for Adobe 6.0 which is 6.01 that should take care of that problem. It did work for me. Hope it helps you.
