Scanning multiple pages
I am unable to scan multiple pages using Acrobat Standard 7.0. This problem began while I was using a Brother MFC-8820D and has continued with the Brother MFC- 9420CN. At one time I was able to scan multiple pages and don't know what changed. The scanner will read the first page then quit, only feeding the remaining pages without scanning them. I've called both Brother and Adobe and they both say it's the other's problem.

Re: Scanning multiple pages
Neil,
Try to remove all traces of the scanner software and Acrobat Standard.
Re-install and fix permissions (you can do this before you remove the
software as well).

Re: Scanning multiple pages
Thanks Mike but unfortunately no luck. I repaired permissions, uninstalled both Acrobat and Brother software. I've reload both and am currently adding the Acrobat updates one at a time to see if anyone in particular makes a difference. Any other suggestions?

Re: Scanning multiple pages
Neil,
When you remove the software be sure to look in both your user library
and the computer's library for bits and pieces. You can also try to
log on as a different user in case the problem is a corrupt preference
file.
