Scanning results with Brother 5100MFC in pdf.
I have a Brother MFC 5100C scanner. When I use the create pdf from scanner in Acrobat 6.0 Professional full version, the scan result appears as "white text" on "black background". I tried many adjustments in the preference file without success
It worked beautifully with Acrobat 5.05 and using "File, import, Scan".
Is there a patch or a fix for this?

No, it's a lack of a standard as to which bit is black and which is white. Workarounds include using greyscale, scanning to TIFF, and Saving the PDF as a TIFF and then inverting with a 3rd party app.
