Default Scanning with Acrobat 6.0 with Epson scanner - 'preview' settings not holding

When scanning with Espon software with Acrobat 6.0, the initial preview setting (dimensions)holds for the first scanned page, put does not hold for subsequent scanned pages -- the dimensions change to a larger size on all following scanned pages. I tried to preview each page individually, but that does not change the outcome. Also, on the subsequent pages, only a portion of the original page is captured in the scan with the print being significantly magnified (it appears to zoom in and capture the left side of the page). Has anyone experienced such a a "flukey" issue? We did not have this problem with Acrobat 4.0. Thanks.

I have experienced the "it appears to zoom in and capture the left side of the page" part of your problem using a HP scanner. Try this:

From "Create PDF from scanner" click on the "down arrow" for "Device." See if you have an option listed for your model EPSON that is prefixed by "WIA -" and if you do, select it and try your scan again. Hopefully, when you select this option your EPSON scanner will be controlled by ADOBE's software instead of EPSON's and the zoom/left page issue will go away.

    Hi Gary:

Thanks for your response -- I tried the 'drop down" suggestion. Unfortunately, the prefix WIA is not lsited as an option. Thanks again.
