Script / action / macro / technique to resize, rotate CCW and Save jpg photos

I shoot groups of 15 vertical images at, say, 1600x1200 and want to resize
to 640x480, rotate counter clockwise 90 degrees and save all fifteen to a
new folder. Has anyone, who is willing to share, written a script or macro
or action to perform this sort of thing?

I don't have that exact one to share, but it's easy peasy lemon squeezy to create. You basically record all of those steps in an action.

Actions are easy to create an you can read about it in the online help, if you haven't already. You record the action on one image, then play it on batches.

You can play it on batches of open images, or images that reside in a folder. So you unload the camera into Photoshop (e.g.), run an action on all open images that saves each file as a PSD (or Tiff if you prefer).

Once you have recorded that action, you File|Automate|Batch and run that on all open images, saving them to the destination of your choice. The key is, if you toggle the dialog box for the Save As PSD, when you run the batch, you will not be prompted for filename and location - that will be handed off to whatever you specify in the batch dialog.

Once you have recorded the action that performs the editing/resizing steps you want, you do the same thing, basically. You File|Automate|Batch and run that "process images" action, only you perform it on the folder of those saved PSD's, and save them to a different folder and with a different name (optionally). BUT - if you don't include a save step in your editing/resizing action, the images will be edited, but will close and not be saved.

Now if you understood most of what I said, should be easy. If you don't then I would recommend saving the thread, and refer back to it after you read about actions in the online help, and try a couple.
