"Script running SLOW!!" error messege - Macromedia Flash Player

I have Flash Player 9 running on Windows XP Proffesional. When trying to loggin in to certain sites I get a "Script in this movie is causing Player to run slowly and may cause your computer to become non-responsive" Do you want to abort this Page? Or something to that affect. Just wondering what is causing this and how do I fix it? Thanks Brandy...
