    Default Scripting Illustrator filters: Possible?

I've just been introduced by the scripting features of adobe's Illustrator and Photoshop.
Before I used other scripting environments to create image screening filters. But making them easy usable for print was a hard thing to do. Who knows that scripting in the CS package is the solution?

The documentation pdf from <http://media.wiley.com/product_data/excerpt/50/07645245/0764524550.pdf> says that you can use different sets of filters but in the adobe illustrator dictionary which I imported in Script editor, I don't see any clues for using them.

So if I want to "object mosaic" an imported bitmap image in illustrator, is there a way to make that work with scripting?

Default Re: Scripting Illustrator filters: Possible?

The IllustratorScriptingGuide.pdf isn't also clear about it.
    It says:

Following are some objects that cannot be created from a script:

    Graphic styles
    Brushes
    Graphs
    Mesh art
    Plugin art
    Spirals

Or do you have to see the internal illustrator filters/effects as Plugin arts?

    Hmmmmm.....
