Scripts Included in Actions

When I include a script in an action, close and re-start illustrator, the script is missing from the action set.

If I save the action set to the hard drive and reload it in illustrator, I get the message "Some event has not been registered for action.". When I check the newly re-loaded action set through the actions palette, the script is missing.

Do I have to register my script before it can be included in an action? If so, how do I go about accomplishing that feat?

Does anyone have a solution?
