Scrollbar differences in browsers
Within one website - where the page header and left side navigation elements
are consistent - when navigating between pages the whole page shifts if
the page is long enough to cause the vertical scrollbar to appear as opposed to
a shorter page where the vertical scroll bar does not appear. This does not
happen in IE because the vertical scrollbar appears to be there, but not
active. It does happen in Fire Fox, Opera and Netscape.
Is there any sort of workaround for this?
