Re: Search Engine for text
hi, thanks for replying.
i'm having a little difficulty understanding what exactly to do. I have placed text members in the cast numbers from 1 to 10 but am unclear what to do next... How do I put the script into the cast? Don't I need to place it on one of the other members?
Also, what do I place onto the stage? (sorry for the basic questions, novice to director!).

Re: Search Engine for text
I would guess the code fragment provided may be too trickey to
implement/debug
An aside there is an add-on xtra that might not make things easier, but
if you had a ton of text to search it would speed it up, there is a free
downloadable sample director movie demonstrating a text search.
