search engine optimization
I have been doing reading on search engine optimization. I realize that a page
made of nothing but flash will not have keywords to scan when search engines go
looking for sites. Do they ignore cold fusion pages? My theory is that it may
read the html in the page and not the coldfusion BUT because it has a cfm
extension, (eg. index.cfm), does it not want to deal with it? Thanks for any
knowledge in this area.

Re: search engine optimization
Search engine does pick up CFM file as long as there is a link to your page. In
addition, ColdFusion translate ColdFusion page into HTML page.
When you submit your Web site, use the domain name. And make index.cfm as a
default page. You can configure this in your Web server administration page.

Re: search engine optimization
As was said there is no detriment to a .cfm page. Its all about how you construct that page that matters.
