SEARCH messages before posting

Doesn't anyone ever make use of the "search" function in this forum? I can find a half dozen messages regarding Quark preview files, the files-saving-as-pdf problem, and others all within the first couple of pages of the active topics.

It would be helpful if people would make a brief check of posted topics to see if their issue is covered already in an ongoing discussion. At least visually scan the recent posts and make sure there isn't a discussion going on already just 5 subjects below the one you're about to post to!

You'll be more likely to get your answer, since people who just posted their answer to your topic are not likely to re-post the same answers to your new topic. If you post it as a new topic the answer may be out there, but you won't know it and won't get your response.
