Seeking OS X binary newsreader with proxy support? - Mac Networking

Does such a piece of software exist. I have always owned a pc up until last week and I used Newsbin to get at my binary newsgroups. I just got a powerbook but now I can't get any news access (entourage is not an acceptable solution as it doesn't queue downloads). All help appreciated. GavinQ...

Does such a piece of software exist. I have always owned a pc up until last
week and I used Newsbin to get at my binary newsgroups. I just got a
powerbook but now I can't get any news access (entourage is not an
acceptable solution as it doesn't queue downloads).

    All help appreciated.

I cannot find any reference to proxy set-up in this doent.

Is there something more basic I need to do? I have all my proxies set-up
in the 'internet' panel of system preferences. Are these used at any
point? I can get netscape and entourage X to access the newsgroups but
they are very poor for autodownloading.

    ANy more ideas, TIA.
