As to the why:

A friend from my NY talent agency (I do voiceover work and TV commercials as
well) was supposed to be on the RL show as a bachelor in a dating contest.
He couldn't make it at the last minute so I stood in for him.

Close, it's about a mother who has trouble in her dating life and has two
beautiful daughters (18 and 20) who are going to choose a date for their
mom.

But there's nothing physical going on between the sisters or any other
combination like you might expect on Jerry Springer.

A TV celebrity! Any other celebs here?

I was hired as "atmosphere" for Jaws II. They used two of the three scenes
I was in in the theater version. I seem to recall that I had less than 1
minute on screen.

So, going on a cruise soon or should we wait for the show to air?

Yes, apparently it comes only from the Outer Hebrides (that's a group of
islands off the north west of Scotland), in particular Harris island, where
it was invented (hence the name "Harris Tweed").

The stereotypical Englishman (e.g., Giles from Buffy) always wears a Tweed
jacket. I don't personally know anyone who really does wear Tweed. JFTR,
Scotsmen don't always wear kilts either: except to weddings and football
matches (especially if it's against England).

Damn streaming! I'm on a 64K ISDN line, so it doesn't work very well. Maybe
I'll set up Digiguide to look for that particular show if/when it ever gets
shown here.
