Send a review not working

We've just set a client up to use Contribute for the first time. They have
purchased Contribute CS3 for Windows and they can access, create drafts and
make changes. But when they try and ' Send for review', i.e. send an email to
someone which contains the URL of the draft page for approval, they get the
following message: (I've changed the company name for dummyname, just to be
discreet):
The server could not be found. Account: 'HTTP://www.dummyname.couk', Server:
'HTTP://www.dummyname.couk', Protocol: HTTPMail, Server Response: '', Port: 0,
Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 12007, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D:

You can see that the DOT is missing from the above url in between co & uk!?
But it is definitely input correctly within the connection settings by the
client.

As their web designer, I run Contribute CS3 on a Mac at a different location
and I can do all they can do, plus successful send a review. Their IT support
company also manages their hosting platform, which appears to be a little basic
as it could not cope with a CGI file for the contact form. But we persevered to
enable them to continue with their client. But on this specific problem they
have offered no advice, basically remaining silent which implies the problem is
ours. We don't think it is as it works from our location.

I think we ran into this problem. The problem is you can only have one . in
the domain i think.

it thinks for some reason whatever is after the first dot is the extension.
in other words once contribute reads .c it thinks that's it, and just puts it
all together thus: .couk

---I could be wrong though, since you said it works for you, but when your
sending a draft is your account also the same double dots?

other than that all I can think of is to make sure the users FTP/SFTP can
write to the MMWIP folder on the server.

Eek! How can I check that? I'm limited in my tech understanding on servers and
my client far more less so!
