Send form data via email (pdf) by clicking SUBMIT button
am trying to create a form that can be sent to an end-user who will process the information on the form.
To do this...I have created a button whose 'Select Action' is "submit a form" and on 'mouse down' i have a URL entered as mailto:kevinjones@goodearthtools.com.
When I fill out the form and push the button...a new email is created and my document is attached to the email. THIS IS GREAT and I am proud of myself for getting this far! However, at this point, my emial is locked up and I cannot push any buttons.
If I ctr+Alt+delete....then it begins to process the email and it actually sends the file no problem.
Anyone know why the email is locking up? If so...how can I make the process smooth without haveing to press ctr+alt+delete?
Any help would be appreciated. Does this need some JavaScript?

Re: Send form data via email (pdf) by clicking SUBMIT button
it is doomed to fail as the free reader will not be able to send a filled out pdf, only the full version will.
Also ony people using Outlook or Outlook express and Eudora will be able to use it and some other Mapi compliant email applications as well.
Send as fdf.

Thanks for your response!! I am running a full version of Acrobat 6. Should the above description work in the full version? If so...do you have any idea what i am doing wrong?
Thanks in advance.
