Sending an eBook as an email attachment
Hello
More Ebook thoughts...
This is the first eBook I've designed.
I want to send it as attachment.
A standard PDF icon is just, - well a PDF icon.
Is there any way at all that I can customize the icon,
or embed it within a graphic, to reflect the publication?
Thank you for any tips.

Re: Sending an eBook as an email attachment
You can make your own icon, copy it, and using Get Info, paste it on to your e-book file. As far as the particulars of creating this icon-- well, maybe someone else would like to contribute.

Re: Sending an eBook as an email attachment
Thanks Otto.
I tried creating a simple square in Illustrator CS, copying it, oprning the PDF file info, highlighting the existing icon and pasting. This worked a charm on my desktop. However as soon as I attached the pdf to an email, the icon reverted to the standard version.
I wonder if my mail preferences are causing this, but looking down them, I can't see any related setting to change.
Sigh!
Still, many thanks for helping.
