Separations Setup is not accessable
Separations Setup is not accessable in Illustrator. I see its "un" highlighted under the "File" menu right above Print Setup where it should be, but its not accessable (I can't click on it or anything). I've messed around with setting up a color profile to try and match the printer, but i cannot for the life of me get into Separations Setup in any fashion whatsoever. and the option to go File > Print, and then click Separation Setup in the Print dialog box does not work either. What am I doing wrong? HELP!

Re: Separations Setup is not accessable
Choose a postscript printer like Acrobat Distiller, then you can make separations. No postscript printer, no separation setup.

Re: Separations Setup is not accessable
Thanks for that reply. I don't have a PS printer (i think), so I tried it with Acrobat Distiller just to see the separations. Wha-la it worked. Thanks for the advice!
