FYI. Sorry if this is widely known or others have posted this, but I found it interesting given the discussion of the Photoshop 8 release.

PhotoshopWorld starts with a special keynote presentation from Bryan Lamkin, Adobe's Senior VP of Digital Imaging & Video Products, for the first in-depth look at new Photoshop technology. Plus, the theme for this year’s conference is “PhotoshopWorld Live” (a take-off of NBC’s Saturday Night Live) so the event is packed with amazing Photoshop effects, hilarious fun, and some really big surprises.
