Server 2000 Crosstab Query - Microsoft SQL / MS SQL Server

Dear All, I am an Access designer more used to designing Crosstab queries with the syntax TRANSFORM...PIVOT, however when I look at SQL Server BOL, there is little mention of TRANSFORM as the T-SQL for creating Crosstab views. Can someone advise me of the syntax I should be looking at for creating Crosstab views/ T-SQL stsements in stored procedures? and/or any examples? Thanks again Alastair MacFarlane...

There is a topic called 'cross-tab reports' in SQL Server Books Online. It
details all the required information you need to create such queries. Also
    refer to:

You can create your crosstabs with the RAC utility.
It is similar to Access crosstab query. You will find transform
and pvtcol=PIVOT.Like the Access crosstab it's easy to use
and you don't need any code to produce your result. You will also
find RAC much more powerful than Access with many features/options.
